This is the first iteration in a (hopefully) longer journey to build RC boats. While I thought this would be a simple first boat project, it was either my inexperience or perfectionism that stretched it out over many weeks, and caused me to run into some pitfalls.
The project involved 3D modelling (including some naval engineering, I guess), the electrical circuitry and the mechanical components of the propulsion. I will touch on each of those separately in the project logs.
The result is a cute, 14 cm long boat, whose design is inspired by South-East Asian cargo boats. TODO: Add some speed information.
