A runway of tiles that wheelchairs can run over/add pressure to the tiles to make different noise. It's a way for everyone to have fun with something, whether or not they have strong legs.

This project is meant to be assistive technology for people in wheelchairs to help them communicate with other children and also act as a tool just to have fun like anyone else would. We decided that we wanted to try to make it as subtle as possible to not make it stick out as "different" or anything. The final product would be a group of tiles (load cell in the prototype), a speaker, and some of the boards to hold the code to play the music & everything.

This week we mainly worked on things on the computer, the highest priority being our code and troubleshooting, while other things like setting up the rest of our Hackaday project and making sure everything looks good. There isn't much else to say this week.

This week, we acquired a new board called the Adafruit feather RP2040 for our load cell and NAU7802 Bridge & Gauge Sensors. The RP2040 will be hooked up to two speakers so we can make noise by applying pressure to the load cell.
